Kingspoke Custom

Kingspoke Marine is a rigging solutions and marine consulting firm located in Newport, Rhode Island. Born in the fast-paced world of international yacht racing, Kingspoke fabricates completely custom rigging systems for today’s fastest and most high-tech Maxi racers. Precision engineered components combined with real world application are two tenets of the Kingspoke brand, and we needed to design a treatment to reflect those pillars. Sharp lines pulled from the dominant letters in KINGSPOKE slice through negative space and merge with each other creating the same visual tension displayed by intricate nautical rigging. We made sure that the mark of the final logo was able to be easily reproduced in the form of a quick stitch used as a calling card at the end of a line.
