Kaidon Photoshoot

We worked with photographer, Kelly Shea, to showcase a few different styles of the Kaidan vessel - a 12" glass vase that hangs from the wall with a pressure fit finial. We wanted to create a narrative that combines classic New England austerity with Japanese simplicity - a visual pairing of glass artist, Michiko Sakano, and Nat Tingley, Co-Owner of Mainland Studio. With a variety of greenery, we sought to appeal to any audience, seeing the potential for this particular product to live in a multiplicity of environments.
